Ryan Kearns is pursuing a Master of Music degree at the Eastman School of Music, studying under Juliana Athayde, Concertmaster of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Kearns also studied with Peter Otto, First Associate Concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra, while attending Cleveland State University. With the Eastman Philharmonia, he performed in 2016 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in premiere performances with Renée Fleming. Kearns has appeared as a featured soloist after receiving first prize in the Daniel Rains Concerto Competition. As an Arts Leadership Program Fellow through the Institute for Music Leadership, he promotes arts advocacy, entrepreneurship, and audience engagement.
