Morgana Ortiz finished her undergraduate studies at Arizona State University in Music Education in 2012. She went on to become an elementary music teacher in Phoenix. As a strong proponent of education and performance, her dedication was rewarded with Teacher of the Month in November 2013. A couple years after teaching she went on to complete her Master's in Performance at the University of Arizona in May 2017. Morgana is currently an active freelancer in Tucson and has played with groups such as Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Tucson Masterworks Chorale. Her primary teachers included David Hickman, Ryan Darke, Edward Reed, and Benny Nguyen.
