Born in Germany, Michelle Sung attended the pre-college music program at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover, Germany for piano and flute. In 2008, Michelle furthered her studies with flutist Karen Lundgren at the Colburn School, where she was selected as a member of the Colburn Honors Quintet. She has spent her summers at the Centre d’Arts Orford, Spoleto Music Festival and YOA Orchestra of Americas, and is a scholarship recipient of the Young Musician Foundation. Michelle is currently pursuing her BM, studying with Paula Robison at the New England Conservatory.
