Joe Desotelle is a percussionist from Buffalo, NY. He has recently graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Daniel Druckman. Beginning in the fall he will begin his Masters Degree at The Shepherd School at Rice University studying with Matthew Strauss. He was a fellow of the Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra and the TMF orchestra in 2016. He has performed under the baton of great conductors such as Vladimir Jurowski and David Robertson with the Juilliard Orchestra. As an educator, Joe is a counselor and chamber music coach at the Juilliard Summer Percussion seminar.
