Jiyoung Moon who is from South Korea, started playing violin at the age of 10. She was awarded the third prize at CBS music competition in 2003, and she came to America when she was 20 year-old. She studied violin performance with Keng-Yuen Tseng at Peabody Conservatory, receiving her Bachelor and Master of Music. She played in Civic Orchestra of Chicago from 2015 to 2016, and she currently has played in The Orchestra Now
