Jennifer Marasti is a percussionist who freelances and performs regularly in the Los Angeles/bay area. Some of her orchestra experience includes playing with the Colburn Orchestra, Santa Monica Symphony, Young Artists Symphony Orchestra, Debut Orchestra, American Youth Symphony, and New World Symphony in Miami Florida, where she was a semi-finalist for the 2016-2017 season. Ms. Marasti has worked under notable conductors such as Michael Tilson Thomas, Robert Spano, Thierry Fischer, Stéphane Denève, Gilbert Varga, and Ludovic Morlot, among others. Ms. Marasti is currently finishing her Masters degree at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, where she studies with Ted Atkatz. Ms. Marasti will be starting a Graduate Diploma in the fall of 2017 at New England Conservatory, where she will be studying with Will Hudgins.
