David Yoon, percussionist from Irvine, CA is pursuing his B.M. at The Juilliard School studying under Daniel Druckman, and is a proud recipient of a Kovner Fellowship. This summer he will be attending TMF and the Verbier Festival, both for his second time. David also attended the Pacific Music Festival in 2015 and in high school spent two summers as part of the National Youth Orchestra of the USA, touring with conductors Valery Gergiev and David Robertson. In 2016, he was the most recent recipient of the Kerope Zildjian Scholarship.
