Claire Niederberger is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in violin performance from the University of Houston. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Claire is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theater, and Dance. An avid traveler, she has performed in various settings in Canada, England, Italy, Austria, and across the U.S. Claire shares a love of both orchestral playing and contemporary music, and will be attending the Contemporary Music Workshop at Orford (Canada) following TMF this summer. Her principal teachers include Kirsten Yon, Stephen Shipps, and Lorien Benet Hart.
