Cindy Qin currently studies at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music with Paula Page. Cindy has served as principal harpist in the Shepherd School Orchestras, and she is also a substitute harpist with the Houston Symphony, the China Philharmonic Orchestra, and the New World Symphony. Cindy was selected as an orchestral fellow for the 2016 and 2017 Texas Music Festival, and attended the Round Top Music Festival in 2015. She will also be attending and performing at the World Harp Congress in Hong Kong this summer. Cindy made her solo debut with the Suburban Symphony Orchestra as the winner of their Concerto Competition in 2014. Cindy was also a first prize winner of the Houston (2017) and San Antonio (2016) Tuesday Musical Clubs' Competitions.
