Caroline Swanson began her viola studies at the age of 9. She attended Interlochen Arts Academy for her last two years of high school, where she studied with David Holland and Renee Skerik. She has just received her Bachelor of Music in performance from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Yizhak Schotten, and she will be attending the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas this fall to pursue her Master of Music in performance, studying with Barbara Sudweeks.
