A native Houstonian, Brandon Lim is a rising sophomore studying Percussion Performance at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music. Prior to joining the Shepherd School, Brandon has been recognized as a finalist for the Houston Symphony's HSL Concerto Competition and has served as a percussionist with the Cypress Philharmonic, the Virtuosi of Houston Chamber Orchestra, the Texas All-State Philharmonic Orchestra, the Honor Orchestra of America, and the BU Tanglewood Young Artists Wind and Percussion Ensembles. Brandon's past and present teachers include Richard Brown of the Houston Grand Opera along with Brian Del Signore and Matthew Strauss of the Houston Symphony.
