Violinist Annie Jeong performs as soloist and chamber musician throughout the U. S. and Korea. She has collaborated with some of the greatest artists such as Emerson, Escher, Ying String Quartets and Peabody Trio. Jeong made her solo orchestral debut with the Oskaloosa Symphony at age 15. In the following year, she appeared as soloist with the Central Iowa Symphony after winning their Young Artist's Competition. As a recitalist, Jeong has appeared in Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall, Griswold Hall and Watson Hall. Jeong obtained her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Violin Performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Jeong is currently pursuing her Performer's Diploma at the SMU Meadows School of the Arts under Emanuel Borok
