Adam Collins, a native of Aberdeen, NC, is currently pursuing his doctorate in cello performance and is cellist of the quartet-in-residence, the Eppes String Quartet, at Florida State University. He is the principal cellist of Sinfonia Gulf Coast and also performs with the Tallahassee, Mobile, and Columbus Symphony Orchestras. With a performance career that spans the globe, Adam has appeared on the Master Players Chamber series in Newark, DE and given solo and string quartet recitals at the Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy. In the summer of 2016, he toured Québec as principal cellist of the Orchestre de la Francophonie.
