Abraham Martin starts his viola studies in the Conservatorio Emil Friedman” in Venezuela. In 2015 he is admitted to “The New England Conservatory of Music” under the studio of Cathy Basrak, Assistant Principal viola of the BSO. From 2011-2014 he occupied the Principal Viola chair from “Arcos Juveniles de Caracas”, the most prestigious orchestra of the Conservatory. He was admitted in the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra for 2015-16 and toured with them to Spain. He currently belongs to NEC Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, he has performed with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra “Virtuosi de Caracas” and “Arcos Juveniles de Caracas”.
