Aaron Blick was hails from Los Angeles, California. He began his study of the double bass, both classical repertoire and jazz standards, at age 11. In high school, he was a member of the Los Angeles Youth Jazz Ensemble and Principal Bass of the Cal State University-Northridge Youth Orchestra. The summer before his senior year of high school, Aaron was accepted to the California State Summer School for the Arts where he won the Herb Alpert Emerging Young Artist Award. Aaron currently studies Double Bass Performance at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music with Andrew Raciti.
