Le Paris Noir

Join us for Le Paris Noir, an exploration of Black intellectual and cultural legacies in Paris. This interactive presentation is led by Kévi Donat, founder Le Paris Noir, a series of walking tours in Paris that centers on Black history and culture. Free lunch provided.

Montrose Grace Place

Grace Place provides food, friends, and hope to youth ages 13-24 experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity of all sexualities and genders. Volunteers will be needed from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. As a student volunteer, you’ll assist in cooking and serving dinner to Montrose Grace Place youth. If using the carpool, volunteers will meet in front of the Student Center South at 4:50 pm and depart at 5:00 pm arrive at the event site at 5:30 pm and volunteer until 7:30 pm. Please indicate on this sign-up form if you can provide carpool - we always need volunteer drivers! All volunteer drivers will receive one extra volunteer hour for their generosity. After the event, volunteers will return to campus and be back by 8:00 pm.

The STEM Career Fair is open to all majors but is targeted toward Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics majors. Join us for the Architecture + Design Career Fair, organized by the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture + Design, Architecture + Design Alumni Association, and University Career Services (UCS). This event provides a valuable opportunity for employers to meet and engage with talented students and recent alumni from the University of Houston, who are seeking internships and full-time positions. Stoplight Mixer

Join UH Wellness for a mixer where your wristband are based on traffic lights. You may also wear clothing that matches the wristbands. The colors are based on traffic lights, with green meaning single, yellow meaning it’s complicated, and red meaning taken.

Let’s get Togetherall for Pizza

We are excited that UH students can now access a clinically moderated mental health support resource, where they connect with a community of peers with shared lived experiences. The university launched a partnership with Togetherall, a safe and anonymous space in which students can benefit from an online peer-to-peer community by receiving and providing support 24/7.

2025 UH Day of Remembrance
