Commencement Tickets

Tickets will be required for all commencement ceremonies taking place at the University of Houston. Tickets will be distributed to the graduating students via email closer to the start of the commencement ceremonies. Each graduate will receive six (6) electronic tickets. Graduates themselves will not require a ticket. Children two (2) years of age and under will not require tickets. Tickets are ceremony-specific and may only be used for the ceremony displayed on the ticket.

All commencement tickets are complimentary, and any unused tickets should be returned to the commencement ticket pool. The selling of commencement tickets is not condoned by the University and could constitute a violation of the Student Code of Conduct. Failure to comply with this directive will result in a referral to the Dean of Students Office.

Grad Fair

Visit the UH Campus Store for the 2024 Grad Fair. This is an opportunity for graduates to begin pre-orders of regalia and commencement materials (announcements, tassels, etc.), take professional headshots, and meet with Herff Jones and Balfour representatives.

10.28 Commencement Guest Ticket Lottery Opens Lottery opens at 2:00 pm to request additional guest tickets. For more information, visit the Commencement Ticketing webpage. 11.15 Graduation Celebration The Office of Protocol and Special Events and UH Campus Store want you to SAVE THE DATE and join us as we celebrate the Fall Class of 2024! More event details to come. 11.18 Regalia Online Order Deadline Last day to submit online orders through the Herff Jones website. 11.19 Grad Photo Submission Opens Each semester we ask our soon-to-be graduates to send us their grad photos to be included in the commencement ceremony’s pre-show. Link will be provided the week of November 18.
