Piracy and the Spanish Empire in the Pacific

Join us for an enlightening public talk by Dr. Kristie Flannery, Research Fellow at Australian Catholic University, as she explores the role of piracy in the history of the Philippines. Her insights will be based on her recent book, Piracy and the Making of the Spanish Pacific World. The event will feature an opening performance by the UH Filipino Student Association. This engaging talk is free to attend, includes catered refreshments, and is open to the public.
