Years ago, when I was pursuing my Ph.D. degree, I was excited by the prospect of applying new analytical methods in computer science—machine learning methods, neural networks and data science—to facilitate interpretation of clinical images. I saw this as a possible way to improve on the subjective and laborious state of the art. 

UH's Faculty Engagement and Development (FED) has a range of events scheduled for November.
