Dionna Brown-Floyd has joined the Student Housing and Residential Life team as the Program Manager for Conference and Guest Services. In this role, Dionna will be responsible for assisting conference groups and short-term guests with their stay in university facilities. Dionna will also serve as a primary contact for guests in need of overnight accommodations and lead information sessions and outreach activities. 

Dionna is a lifelong Houstonian who has had work experience in both the healthcare and education industries. She has worked for Texas Children’s Hospital, Triumph Healthcare Systems, and Harris County Hospital District. 

Most recently, Dionna served as the Program Coordinator for the Division of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Health Professions at Lone Star College Montgomery.   

Dionna graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at Kaplan University.
