Students admitted to the Honors College must also be admitted to the University of Houston. However, you may begin your Honors College application before you are officially admitted to the University.

The University of Houston Admissions Application also serves as the application for University Scholarships, which comprise the institution's primary source of merit awards. As such, students are encouraged to apply to both the University of Houston and the Honors College as early as possible to secure their seat in the College and improve their chances of receiving merit awards.
