Career Highlights
Started a 20-year career in intercollegiate athletics administration in 1985, followed by a stint as an entrepreneur, vice president of the North American Music Division for Live Nation and, since 2010, has served as the associate vice president for alumni relations at the University of Houston; founding chair of the Alumni Council of Executives for the American Athletic Conference and a board member of the Council for Alumni Association of Executives; chaired the 2017 CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education) IV Conference, and served as programming chair for the 2014 CASE IV Conference held in Houston; served as a member of the global CASE Commission on Alumni Relations, and is a past board member of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators; active on a variety of local committees, including the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and contributed as a Houston-based committee member for the NCAA Houston Final Four, the NFL Super Bowl and Greater Houston Basketball.
