Grew up in the hospitality industry, starting at the age of 10 working in the kitchen of his family’s award-winning restaurant, Chateau Louise, outside of Chicago; brings to his classroom more than 30 years of industry experience in restaurant operations, management, development of quick-service restaurant concepts, franchising, marketing and sales, and small business development and operations with such companies as Taco Bell & PepsiCo, Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Brinker International, Diedrich Coffee, Inc., and Sizzlin’ Quick Hamburgers; currently owns a number of small businesses and real estate investments, and consults with business owners, franchisees and franchisors opening, training and growing coffeehouses, restaurants and other small businesses; teaches Entrepreneurship as an adjunct member of the faculty at Hilton College.
