Career Highlights
Brings 40 years of hospitality experience, more than 30 of which are in club management, to the classroom; held several service and management/leadership positions at Houston Country Club, including procurement manager, assistant manager and clubhouse manager, and served as vice president of operations for Northwood Club in Dallas before being named chief operating officer and general manager of Houston’s River Oaks Country Club where he has served since 2002; provided service to multiple industry boards and held officer positions, including president of the Texas Lone Star Chapter (TLSC) of the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), president of the Texas Alliance of Recreational Organizations, and membership chair of The National Club Association; recipient of numerous certifications and awards from the club industry, including Manager of the Year for the TLSC CMAA and Club Professional of the Year for CMAA National; a proud member of Eric’s Club, the Hilton College Alumni Association and a life member of the UH Alumni Association.
