As General Manager of The Hotel Hershey since 2017, Bill Hendrix leads the operation of the entire Forbes Four-Star, AAA Four-Diamond historic property - including 276 guest rooms, 25,000 square feet of meeting space, a 40,000 square-foot chocolate spa, three full-service restaurants, four shops, and a variety of recreation offerings. In his role, (Bill) Hendrix also oversees Hershey Country Club, home to three award-winning golf courses; MeltSpa by Hershey, known for its exclusive Hershey’s dark chocolate treatments; and he previously oversaw a 100,000 square-foot laundry facility.

Hendrix boasts 30 years of hospitality experience working at AAA Four- and Five-Diamond resorts across the United States and has been in leadership roles at The Hotel Hershey for nearly two decades. During his tenure in Hershey, he has overseen numerous renovation projects, including the Hotel’s Grand Expansion - a $67 million project in celebration of the property’s 75th anniversary.

Prior to joining The Hotel Hershey, Hendrix spent five years at Ritz-Carlton properties, including Lake Las Vegas and Pentagon City, and seven years with Four Seasons properties, including Beverly Hills; Irving, Texas; and Los Angeles.

Active in his community, Hendrix enjoys volunteering with Meals On Wheels, Ronald McDonald House, and Milton Hershey School’s Project Fellowship and Mentoring Our Leaders’ Development programs. He also serves on the Historic Hotels of America Board of Advisors and attends the Hilton College Career Fair annually.
