Your screening may include tests for gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia, and HIV.

A certified testing counselor can take a urine sample, throat swab, and/or rectal swab to test for gonorrhea and chlamydia.

Blood can be drawn to test for syphilis or HIV. HIV tests may also be done with a simple finger-stick test or a mouth swab.

A certified counselor will walk you through the process.
