Ms. Gittens graduated from Long Island University Brooklyn with a Bachelors of Arts in journalism. She previously worked as a college advisor and student activities coordinator creating fun, inclusive and safe events for the student body. She is passionate about making sure her students are enjoying their college experience and successfully achieving all of their goals, career and personal. In her free time she loves spending time with her son, reading and working out. She enjoys working with the students at UH and exploring all that Houston has to offer.

Raymond “Marshall” Miller

Mr. Miller graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in business and earned a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston before discovering his passion for higher education. Prior to the University of Houston, Mr. Miller was a financial aid advisor at Texas A&M University. Mr. Miller enjoys advising health students because of the wide variety of career opportunities that are available in this rapidly growing field.

Ms. Sidwell has a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas and a M.A. from the University of Houston – Downtown. She joins our team after 20+ years as an educator and administrator, working in Title 1 and international schools. Her last position was College and Career counseling. Working with students to guide them along their educational journey is always the cornerstone to her career. Jane loves to experience diverse cultures through reading and travel. Since ticking Istanbul and Budapest off her Bucket List in 2019, Morocco is the next goal.
