College of Education Celebrates Scholarship Recipients

The College of Education offers a variety of scholarships to students ranging from undergraduate to Ed.D. and Ph.D. levels. Each year the number of exceptional students applying for scholarships increases and so does the level of competiveness.

“The College of Education scholarships are a way to award the excellence of our outstanding students,” said Dean Robert McPherson. “Through these scholarships our students are able to pursue their dreams to serve the Houston and global community.”

On November 5th, the college will recognize the scholarship recipients at the 2015 Star Awards event.  Below you will find information on three of our accomplished undergraduate students and scholarship recipients.

“Our college’s undergraduate students work remarkably hard in their training to become exceptional leaders in their fields of teaching, health and human development and family studies, ”said Andrea Burridge, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies. “It is rewarding to see their work recognized at this event.”
