Students come to college to achieve their ultimate goal of earning a degree and obtaining a job after their years on campus. Yet, through their involvement with the Center for Student Involvement, students realize there is so much more to college life by engaging in co-curricular experiences. These experiences help them apply their classroom learning into practical skills, build relationships with peers and others, and create memories that last a lifetime. The Center for Student Involvement provides hands-on learning and engagement opportunities that give students experiences to connect to the university and retain them through graduation.

Although our college campuses have been forced to move beyond our brick and mortar walls, we are committed to providing students with virtual ways to connect with others, continue to develop soft skills for future success, and have some fun! "Even though we may not be there on campus to physically deliver programs and events, our staff has been working daily to rethink student involvement, discovering new ways to engage our students in leadership, civic engagement, student organizations, and events," shared Dr. Tina Powellson, Director for the Center for Student Involvement.

This week, we redesigned our website to provide a significant number of online experiences, resources, and ideas for student engagement. This can include videos, articles, online event ideas, and more! We encourage students to visit the site and find ways to bolster their college experience virtually.

  • Programming
This list of options provides students with a myriad of ways to stay connected and engaged with their fellow students in a fun and meaningful way
