"Beanie" Drake Founders' Award at this year’s Association of College Unions International (ACUI) annual conference in Chicago, Illinois. Shaw-Reed currently serves as associate director for the Student Centers. Nominators explained how Shaw-Reed lives out the values of the institution and ACUI through her professional role and campus committees. She takes on leadership roles to assist her colleagues toward success and finding ways to support all students. Due to her exceptional ability to foster relationships, the reach of the student centers on campus has expanded to campus partners that were unaware of what was available.
