Welcome to the Psychology Undergraduate Research Site!
Getting research experience is a great way to learn more about a topic that interests you and enhances your psychology education. Many UH Psychology Department faculty members have labs in which undergraduates can participate in research. Our faculty have a wide range of interests, such as addiction, anxiety, bilingualism, counterproductive work behavior, learning impairments, traumatic brain injury and sleep. If you are considering pursuing a career in research, then getting some experience is a good way to focus your goals and hone your post-graduation plans.
Undergraduate Research Assistants work with Psychology graduate students and/or faculty in a variety of ways. They help recruit and run subjects, enter data and help with the day-to-day conduct of science in a laboratory setting. You will find postings for laboratories currently seeking research assistants HERE. (You may log in with your Cougarnet ID and password.)
