Dr. Daniel O’Connor is President of The UH Faculty Senate
HHP chair Dr. Daniel O’Connor became president of the University of Houston Faculty Senate on January 24th 2018. He served as president-elect of the faculty senate in 2017. Dr. O’Connor has been a member of the UH Faculty senate executive committee since 2015.

The UH faculty senate is comprised of members elected by UH faculty and is committed to the principles of shared governance and to working cooperatively with other university constituents to achieve a common vision of excellence for the university. The Faculty Senate considers and makes recommendations to the President of the University of Houston and other senior administrators on matters of interest to the entire faculty.
