Visit the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) website for information about how to apply for a Texas Driver License.
If you are a new LCC student, please wait until Week 4 of LCC classes before visiting TxDPS. Otherwise, TxDPS staff members might not be able to locate your lawful presence information in order to approve your application.
Texas Identification Card
If you do not have a driver license and do not plan to get one soon, you may apply for a Texas identification card. Visit the TxDPS website for information about how to apply for a Texas Driver License.
