New Research from Dr. Liu Paves Path for Stronger Interorganizational Collaborations

wenlinliu.jpgDr. Wenlin Liu, assistant professor of strategic and organizational communication, recently published a paper on interorganizational health in the Journal of Applied Communication Research.

The paper, “Promoting collaboration: the role of relational multiplexity in an interorganizational health justice network,” focuses on collaboration between organizations. More specifically, this research showed the importance of organizations forming multiple points of communication to fuel deeper levels of engagement and collaboration.

Dr. Liu recounts the extensive effort she and her group of fellow researchers put into the paper.

“We used network analysis to track and suggest partnerships among a health justice coalition over the course of four years,” Dr. Liu said. “Thanks to our community partners for making the data collection possible.”
