Jake has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both research and clinical settings. His clinical work has primarily been CBT-focused, but Jake is also interested in using Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches to provide the best fit for his clients' needs. He has worked in state-run mental health centers and UH's Psychological Research and Services Center (PRSC). His research interests include risk and resilience in racial, ethnic, and sexual minority communities, especially how social support acts as a protective factor.
