UH Student Grief Group

Let us know you are coming- Register
This is a discussion-based support group for UH students who have experienced the death of a loved one (such as a pet, partner, friend, classmate, family member, or coworker). Grief is universal and unique to everyone. This support group will provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space for students to gain an understanding of the grieving process, receive emotional support from others, and learn ways to manage grief as a student.

Grief group is co-facilitated by Dr. Toshio Asai and Ms. Juliet Ogbonna.

Looking for more resources about grief?

The grief support group is open and free to all current UH students.

Observation of groups for academic purposes is not permitted to ensure the safety and privacy of members.

Fill out the interest form to receive additional information or contact Dr. Toshio Asai at tasai@central.uh.edu.
