CheckED invites you to attend a free virtual event featuring Celeste Malone, an associate professor and coordinator of the school psychology program at Howard University. She will share her journey and discuss the development and impact of multicultural competence in school-based practice on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 5 p.m. Malone’s work focuses on multicultural competence, the ability to work effectively with diverse populations through the application of cultural knowledge and to demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to cultural issues.
