Thursday, January 31, 2019
12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Human trafficking is the business of stealing peoples freedom for profit, according to Polarisproject.org. Combating human trafficking is a priority and the responsibility is not limited to any one organization or profession. Join the BTI Institute as we host a lunch-and-learn discussing the roles that the legal and medical professions play in combating human trafficking. Guest speakers include: Juhi Jain, MD; Professor Alfonso Lope de la Osa Escribano; and Edward Gallagher, JD.
Food and beverages will be provided.
