Description: Join us on our latest hiking excursion through the beautiful forest of the Big Thicket National Reserve. This 113,000 acre reserve protects diverse wildlife found in the many habitats within southeast Texas. There are nine different ecosystems from longleaf pine forests to cypress-lined bayous where you can take a breath, relax & enjoy the outdoors! Our experienced trip leaders will guide you through the thick forest and will explain the flora and fauna that thrive in this region and call it home. Come with us to explore this 5.2-mile loop trail (approx. 2-3 hours). This trail is great for birding and hiking this time of year!
Difficulty: Beginner - Intermediate
