Tuesday, August 16, 2022
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
About the Event
Yi Li, Ph.D., will discuss how key anti-apoptotic proteins such as JAK2, STAT5, and BCLxL are involved in breast cancer formation and progression. He will also discuss his research program in targeting these proteins for breast cancer prevention and treatment.
About the Speaker
Li has expertise in molecular and cellular biology. His research is focused on breast cancer biology and rodent models of breast cancer. His lab investigates the molecular and cellular mechanisms of breast cancer initiation and progression with the goal of translating this knowledge into breast cancer prevention and treatment.
