Trek the Trails: Camping at Garner SP

Join us as we camp and hike through the magnificent mesas, canyons, and cliffs that define this gem of a park. On this camping trip, we will trek around the expansive trail network, observe local flora and fauna, take a dip in the spring fed Frio River that meanders through the park, and explore the White Rock Cave that makes Garner State Park truly one of the best. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corp in the 1930’s, this 1,774 acre park offers gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape and provides abundant opportunities to learn about the plants and wildlife that reside in this dazzling park.
