Identification of Novel Molecular Targets in Neuroblastoma
Tuesday, February 15, 2022
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
About the Event
Jianhua Yang’s laboratory is interested in characterizing novel molecular targets in neuroblastoma. In his presentation, he will discuss two projects; in the first, he will define the role of a novel CREB-activating kinase pathway in neuroblastoma growth and development. In the second, he will define the role of a novel cell surface receptor-like molecule in neuroblastoma growth and development.
About the Speaker
Jianhua Yang, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the Baylor College of Medicine and is a member of the Neuroblastoma Program at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. He received his Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Texas-Houston and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Yang’s laboratory is currently supported by the National Institutes of Health and the Elsa U. Pardee Foundation.
