Macromolecular “Biolink” Drug Design and Development

Tuesday, November 2, 2021

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Topics from basic to translational research focus on the design and development of a variety of macromolecule “Biolinks” for potential therapeutic interventions. A new concept, “Biolink” is introduced to describe the connection between enzymes and enzymes (single-chain enzyme chain), receptors and G protein (single-chain receptor chain), insulin B-chain and A-chain (single-chain insulin), and one RBD to another RBD (SC-RBD).

About the Speaker

Ke-He Ruan, Ph.D., is Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology in the UH College of Pharmacy. He is also director of the Center for Experimental Therapeutics and Pharmacoinformatics (CETP).
