MVP is volunteering at The Beacon, which is a non-profit organization that serves the Houston homeless community through daily services, civil legal aid, counseling and mentoring, and access to housing. As volunteers, we will be helping greet guests, lunch preparation and serving, and assisting with laundry.
Volunteers will meet in front of the Student Center 15 minutes prior to the start time of the event and will carpool to the site at 9:30 AM. We will then volunteer from 10:00AM - 1:00pm. After the event, volunteers will return to campus at 1:25 PM.
