CW&T | Che-Wei Wang + Taylor Levy present “How to Win the Lottery”
Che-Wei Wang and Taylor Levy share their journey of wins and losses over the last 12 years as they attempt to build and maintain a design practice of two. Projects at CW&T involve software, electronics, mechanical engineering, industrial design, architecture, and art. An insatiable curiosity and a (bordering unhealthy) habit of saying yes makes what they do possible.
CW&T is the art and design practice of Che-Wei Wang & Taylor Levy. We concept, design, and make real the things we want to see in the world. These objects and bits of code are spurred to adapt, augment, and transform our surroundings into something other than what was before.
The results are thoughtfully made, carefully considered, and overly engineered to do what they do and do it well—often for multiple generations. They’re made for the individual, to patina with your own wear and tear, and become a part of your life. Everything is made to be the last of its kind you’ll ever need.
We sketch, design, and prototype all our products from our Brooklyn studio. What we can’t do in-house, we work closely with talented manufacturers to bring projects into existence. In every step along the way, we’re touching, tweaking, and refining. You can view our obsessive documentation alongside each of our products and follow our work in progress on Instagram @charliewhiskeytango.
It’s attention to detail that makes a CW&T product. We make things how we want them, and if that idea resonates with you, we think you’ll enjoy what we do.
