Positioned within Austin city limits lies the urban oasis of McKinney Falls State Park. The park is widely known for the beautiful rivers that flow across fossil-rich limestone beds, waterfalls that cascade down river ledges and the strong connection to both the ancient and more recent history of Texas. Come hike this lively landscape of winding trails through the Texas Hill Country as you escape the busy city life and relax to the sounds of nature.
