November is American Diabetes Month.  Do you know your risk?

The works of renowned photojournalist Ernest C. Withers (1922-2007), who captured the progression of anti-racism protests, marches and activism throughout the United States, will be on view at the UH M.D. Anderson Library. “I AM A MAN” is open to the public Sunday, Oct. 20 through Sunday, Nov. 3.

On the first Friday of every month, UH students are invited to start off the weekend with art-making, guided tours and fun activities.

This nationally recognized program is designed to educate persons to recognize and respond to the signs of suicidal thinking and behaviors. Individuals will learn how to ask the suicide question, how to persuade the person to contact appropriate assistance, and how to identify referral options.

The third concert in the series focuses on quintets for piano and strings, uncovered gems by Ives and Martin, and the sublime quintet by Franck.
