“I AM A MAN” Photo Exhibit

The works of renowned photojournalist Ernest C. Withers (1922-2007), who captured the progression of anti-racism protests, marches and activism throughout the United States, will be on view at the UH M.D. Anderson Library. “I AM A MAN” is open to the public Sunday, Oct. 20 through Sunday, Nov. 3.

CASE Workshop: Collaborative Negotiations (Canceled)

The Center for Art & Social Engagement (CASE) welcomes Lillian Warren, president of Warren Insight, to campus to host the Culture of Collaborative Leadership Workshops Series. The nine-week series of workshops are designed to provide attendees with the tools to strengthen networks and build potential in creative communities.

Collaborative Negotiations, the second in the series of workshops, is a highly participatory workshop for artists, arts administrators and community leaders focuses on collaborative negotiations.

DEA National Drug Take Back Fall 2019

On Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. several local agencies and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public its 18th opportunity in nine years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.
