College is a great time to develop relationships and to reflect on relationships we have. In this workshop, we focus on understanding what a healthy relationship looks like and warnings to know when relationships are unhealthy.

Going Public: Introducing the Research of Ancient Syria Outside the University

Finding Connection in Ancient Syria creates a digital space for integrating and analyzing the artifacts of the region – such as coins – in new and dynamic ways. This interactive, online exhibit will allow scholars, students, and the general public to manipulate interactive maps, graphics, and 3D models in order to explore the different political, social, and economic connections among Syrian cities.

In an effort to increase awareness for the LGBTQIA community, this workshop educates UH students, faculty and staff on terminology, pronouns, heterosexual privilege and inclusive practices in support of the LGBTQIA community.

Teaching Kitchen: Whole Grains with Chef Alex Brugger and Chef Neil Doherty

UH System Senior Executive Chef Alex Brugger and Sysco Corporate Chef Neil Doherty will team up to highlight plant-forward menus in a special Teaching Kitchen featuring whole grain salad. You can also enjoy a new Cauliflower Pizza Crust to avoid gluten and an Impossible Empanada (vegetarian) at lunch.
