Tamler Sommers is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Houston and holds a joint appointment with the Honors College. He is also co-director of Phronesis: A Program in Politics and Ethics, an interdisciplinary minor here at UH. He teaches primarily in ethics, political philosophy, and the philosophy of law, specializing in issues relating to free will, moral responsibility, punishment, and revenge.

The University of Houston School of Art and Blaffer Art Museum present the 42nd Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition. The annual thesis exhibition is the culmination of the School of Art’s three-year MFA Studio Art program. Each of the School’s five studio programs, graphic design, interdisciplinary practices and emerging forms, painting, photography/digital media, and sculpture will be represented by fifteen outstanding MFA candidates.
